Man, those eyes. She can remain totally low-key in all of the live performances, but as long as she's staring into that camera, I'm transfixed. She had a really authentic, natural charisma. Too bad she didn't have more mainstream success with the Sneaker Pimps or other stuff, but I guess a few successful singles is much better than none.

She was best as the vocalist when it came to songs on Becoming X, but the other guy in the band was best when it came to singing the songs on Splinter, but after that second album, they should have brought her back or something.

They were complete dip shit idiots for kicking Kelli Ali. With her in the band they had a sexy vocalist and a really cool sexy feel to there songs. Now they got that fag singing this. Horrible.

Nah dude. Chris Corner brought her on to capitalize on the trend for female lead singers for trip-hop bands. She turned out to be (by far) the most famous member and the element that actually made them a lot of money. Chris never forgave her for that and never saw her as an actual member of the band, just "hired help" if you will. He also made sure his next album was nothing but autobiographical songs on guitar, so he'd have reason to fire her. Now they're poor again. lol

It wasn't even a big deal for me. She continued to make some amazing music and almost no harm was done. The lead guy in Sneaker Pimps actually made quite a bit of good music as well, as SP and IAMX, so it was a bonus. There was too much talent in one band I guess, so the split, and it payed off in the end with them doing so.
