I too am a fan of Dar Williams - her voice is like pure spun gold. Dar is touring around different areas in U.S. & Canada this year. Mostly mid-west & eastern U.S. states though. Maybe she will be in a city near where you are...none are near me at all, I am out west.

"Many Great Companions" is a Dar Williams album. Has two discs. First disc contains new acoustic version of recordings of several her liked songs featuring her friends. (This acoustic version is in the first disc.) Another disc is a compilation featuring her hits in the past albums. (Looks 2010 release.)

So many great, great songs by Dar - but this song is my all time favourite. Just love the lyrics and the very folky arrangement and the gentleness of the vocals. Can listen to this song, over and over.
