April Wine performs their hit rocker "Oowatanite" at the University of Reading in Reading, Berkshire England, for a 1980 BBC telecast of "Rock Goes to College". Lead vocalist/guitarist Myles Goodwyn states in this telecast that it's April Wine's very first concert in Great Britain... which took place shortly after the release of the band's 1979 "Harder Faster" album. Seen in this clip, is April Wine's most famous (three guitar) hay-days lineup; Myles Goodwyn, Gary Moffet, Brian Greenway, Jerry Mercer (drums), and Steve Lang (bass). They like to rock!

This is one of the greatest 100 rock songs as far as I am concerned. It has everything ,a cool intro(bell) , gushing sustainful power chords (better than 1980's harsh metal) or anything after .The song also has a catcy melody and cool harmonies and just makes you feel good!!!13 years ago
