Young Rebel Set are delighted to announce the video for their new single 'Measure of a Man' features actress Jo Hartley (star of Shane Meadows' This Is England and Dead Man's Shoes).

The band is currently on an extensive tour across the UK to promote their forthcoming single 'Measure of a Man' and play their first London headline show at the Borderline tomorrow, Wednesday October 20th.

After self-releasing two very limited edition singles last year, and following the release of their 'Won't Get Up Again' EP through the band's own label in May, Young Rebel Set are putting the finishing touches on their debut album, which they are delighted to announce will be released early in 2011. More details on this shortly.

New single 'Measure Of A Man' will come as a digital download on November 14th. Mixed by Dan Austin - who's mixed most of the album and worked on the last Doves record, Massive Attack and Cherry Ghost amongst others - 'Measure Of A Man' is possibly Young Rebel Set's rootsiest moment and conjures the outlaw spirit of Cash as rolling drums build to roof-lifting chorus. The single is backed by two new songs, 'The Reckoning' and 'Love Me Once, Love Me Again'

Couldn't be less like Plain White T's. Mumford & Sons, however... "So here's my heart, and here's my soul, I really fucked it up this time, didn't I my dear?"

@natersblue Im sorry but youre barking up the wrong tree. I saw them live saturday and can say that the album is dramatically different to the way they play them live. That delilah song is just crappy pop music and judging by the reaction on the message board Im not the only one who thinks youre completely wrong!
