THE ORIGINAL STARRED PRISCILLA LANE AND JOHN GARFIELd, AND JEFFERY LANE. THE MOVIE WAS CALLED BY A DIFFERENT TITLE.

I know what you mean , Dolly. I m 26 and I love the old music and movies a lot for the same reasons you listed. Plus I absolutely love the clothes. But I make myself be honest, I d have hated to be a woman then for the most part. I really really like making my own decisions and choices. Still the dream and the magic are worth keeping close in our thoughts and our hearts .

In "Young at Heart" she sang my song "Hold Me in Your Arms"----in the beach scene. What a thrill to have that happen. Lyrics by Charles Henderson (brilliant) and me. Written in one afternoon----heard that evening by Miss Day. She liked the song---the rest is history. Thank you Doris Day for the thrill of you singing one of my earliest songs. Don Pippin
