Messers Patridge, Moulding, Gregory and Chambers ask for a favor.

*FOR YOUR LISTENING ENJOYMENT ONLY*

What is the openVAULT you ask? It's quite simple. Music that for lack of a better analogy, has been locked away from the general public. What has happened to the musical landscape is sickening. Far too many artists go largely unnoticed. We are here to change that. To drive the point home, this will not be some "best of" list aka Rolling Stone. No "Stairway", no "Walrus", just music that should be heard. Here at openVAULT you're going to be forced off the beaten path more often than not.

It'll be good for you, trust us.

Every song you will hear is from our private collection, so please NO copying, downloading or reproducing these videos in any form for this is strictly prohibited. As stated before these tunes are FOR YOUR LISTENING ENJOYMENT ONLY! We won't sell, trade, or give up any mp3s, so if you're here for that purpose please step aside, you're blocking the view of others.

The coolest xtc song ever. Supposedly Andy Partridge screamed though his amp in the middle rap part. You'll never know...

An advert for the One Direction "film", shown on YouTube before an XTC song. Those twats aren't fit to lick XTC's boots.

i have liked and yes loved XTC since I saw them in 1981 on the Black Sea tour. Andy is such a pure artist and Colin is amazing. Any one who is getting into them get English Settlement the best LP ever and just the way the music was crafted was just great. Yacht Dance, Melt the Guns, down in the cockpit English roundabout

Thank you, life is often distracting. I'm sure you understand how this may have slipped my attention, I appreciate the slap on the face- HEY LOOK AT THIS! Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses, in this case the orchids by the river :) I'd never herd that one yet, other distractions. I'm better now. Thanks Doc!

I'll give up mine when you give up yours. No need for defense amongst friends, I do not yet consider you my friend I guess.

I've been a fan for over 30 years and I find myself still amazed by their music. True, they are very political, but when I listen to "River of Orchids", then remember "Life Begins at the Hop", the evolution they have went through has been amazing. Songs like "Melt the Guns", "Smartest Monkeys" and "Things We Did on Grass" show their ability to take me to a place where the Beatles would probably arrived to if they'd stayed together.

XTC runs the gamut of music styles..That's what makes them so great..If you're just getting into them, you're in for a treat.. Just remember, sometimes it takes 3 or 4 listens to finally "get" what's happening, then it's "Holy shit, what a great song."

The scared little pricks of this world still need their security blankets. Just like frightened children they bully to get what they want.
