This is Wynn Stewart's original version of "Playboy" from his 1962 Forum Avon 7G-506 LP entitled "Wynn Stewart". Wynn born on June 7, 1934 in Morrisville, MO., and died on July 17, 1985 in Hendersonville, TN. Wynn Stewart was a trailblazer of "The Bakersfield Sound". Another great singer gone too soon. Pictures obtained from the Internet. I hope you enjoy this video.

Hey People This is an awesome song but it was stolen from James Duncan Of Centreville Alabama. And!!!! if you EVER were fortunate enough to here James Duncan sing it you would never listen to this version AGAIN, I listen to it because that's all I can find. Love to all of you that loves this song belonging to James Duncan" not Wynn Steuart How do I know I? I was thjere at the time and I've known James Duncan for 64 years. He now lives 1/4 mile from me. Thank s Love to Each Of You!!!!!!!!

Oh man ! I had the priviledge of playing bass behind "Windy" at Mike Bruno's Hacienda, in Santa Rosa, Calif. in back 1967 ( I think). It was probably four or five in the morning. The jam would start at three and go until noon. A truly fantastic place for a young bass player to learn his craft.

Wynn, is one the originators of that Bakersfield Sound....always had a great band and an awesome steel!!!....Moon is on this steel, no wonder Buck, Merle & Waylon used Ralph on steel...What a singer--Wynn Stewart
