I am a major Led Zeppelin fan and have listened to many people state David Coverdale is a Robert Plant 'want-to-be'. Regardless of anything Coverdale is Coverdale and Plant is Plant. Coverdale is an incredible vocalist and arranger. I am pleased he did not allow himself to get stuck in the 'hair band' showmanship. He and Whitesnake are far too good for that. My only negative view about Whitesnake is that the band turned from blues/hard rock to pop/rock & girlie/girlie music. To reinvent oneself the preceding is well. However, a cheapening I feel was at occasion. "Whitesnake, the Purple Album", praise for it, Coverdale, and Deep Purple!!! The Memories. The songs, sounds and spirits bring back what was to those who are.8 years ago

Great take on the original. Better dc doing it instead of one of todays bands covering it and butchering it. A good way for this generation to hear good music and be introduced to .w.s. and .d.p.i hope .w.s. puts out another album with new material.frontiers keep cranking out the great artists.
