i saw whitesnake in 1981, they opened up for jethro tull. they did the live in the heart of the city album.they sounded great. i liked jethrow tull but i went more for whitesnake. i already had the live album before i went to the concert. they played the whole live album, that was pretty much their set. that was fine with me, they sounded great. every band was on tour and i saw almost everyone, starting with kiss in 1977.

@Gillanfan89 Actually they played Ham both March 3 and October 28 1979! But since Ian Paice is in the band here it's late '79.
