No-one sounds same as 30 years ago singing at this level - still love seeing him perform - is + has been major part of my life musically (+ hey as a woman still wd..;)), in early '80s u only knew what band looked like from album sleeves + I fell in love with his voice + band performance as a whole, as young teenage girl mayb not be aid to development haha (+ can't play Slide It In cd on school run ;)), but brilliant seeing all footage now, + getting to lay eyes on him (sorry, am from up North) x

@1959child One off performance isn't representative of his ability. All singers, young and old have off nights and voice problems from time to time. Whether it is a 10 year old choir boy, Christina Aguilera, David Coverdale or the trolololol guy (lol), they all get them. Don't be so quick to judge. Watch some other recent performances and you will see his voice is still in good shape.
