Still giving feelings...still with great songs....and to me still with a great voice!! I will miss the snakes when they'll be gone, they contributed significantly in my life....they're another band that made me forever love RnR!!! Forever and ever, 'back where I belong".

Early in this tour I watched him on here seeming to struggle a bit with the high notes but since coming back to the U.S. in august, he seems to be gaining some vocals back again. I saw him on august 14th @ Tags, it was the best show I've been to in a long time. Also his august 20th performance in N.J. seems to be complete and I can see it in his eye that he was feeling well. You still Rock David Coverdale and quite a feat for someone well advanced in years. Young at heart...Forevermore.

It's ok statusquo4life, your opinion is as valid as mine...but if you watch the video, David points to his throat at the start to Doug Aldrich and anyone can hear that his voice is shot. But it brings me no joy to say this as I have been a Snake fan and watched every tour since 1980. However your view is well written, unlike lawless168 who resorts to pathetic and childish insults...and obviously knows more about Justin Bieber than me. I will ask my 7 year old daughter to enlighten me!

@ELTEL1100 well i hate to be a gloomy gus, but i disagree with you, the 87 generation had their best of coverdale, and this is the best he can offer the modern generation, the new album seems to have taken its toll, but live, he still has the voice

Well foghornjdk & Eltel1100 you can have your Justin Bieber, I'll stay here and listen to Coverdale. And I would like to thank Coverdale for Evermore and any other future music he plans on releasing.

“Wise words mate” – although I understand the desire to remain current and appeal to the 1987 generation that brought about David’s worldwide fame and fortune – sadly David cannot sing those screaming songs anymore – maybe a tour of the Early Years Compilation CD from 2004 – that would make a great set list – would sell out in minutes in UK halls – and David could sing those songs well – bring back Moody, Marsden, Murray and Lord (although Paice may be a problem) !

Was at this gig and all the other tours since 1980...very sad to hear David's voice has gone for good...no better on the Def Leppard/Snake Tour a couple years back... so time for me to say farewell. Maybe he'd have been better playing more of the early less screaming stuff...just a thought!
