Interesting you cll him Coverversion..I wonder if you could say the exact number of covers he has done since he formed Whitesnake back in 1977...35 years ago? And I mean proper covers not songs you think sound like some other band, I'm betting you can't come up with even 4...I know I can't and I've been a fan since they started.

PPS - soz, being Mr Picky here, and I'm quite prepared to be proved wrong, but I think dear old Cov owns the Whitesnake name, so although your line up is 5/6 key members (all excellent players), it could never officially be called 'Whitesnake', could it?

PS - no problem with the other members you selected - I reckon that the classic line up does feature Moody, Marsden, Paice, Lord and Murray. (With Cov). But for my money DC's best post-Purps albums are Northwinds, Whitesnake and Snakebite (EP). Followed by Trouble and Lovehunter. But it's just my opinion. Cov's voice - once brilliant - has been shot for so long (at least since the 93 collaboration with Jimmy Page) he really should jack it in.
