Bernie Looks like he is walking the shadow of the PIEMAN ! White men pretending to have suffered in song is not only pathetic, its an insult to those Guys they ripped off ! Having worked with these guys I KNOW they are phonies and lightweights of the first order !

This sounds just awesome. But as a drummer myself........ It might be the recording, but Paice's tom-toms sounds like shit!

Brilliant version of a classic Whitesnake song with a pie-hot line-up too.

Ian Paice is extremely precise. No unnecessary "show off". Delicate playing from the best drummer in the world.

I'm amazed by this formation, Paice never lets down, Murray colouring the song with the bass line, Marsden sings his balls out. Excellent choice!

I've been an Ian Paice fan for 40 years - when I grow up I wanna be just like him.

Great to see these guys live - they're really into it which is a great feeling to transmit to the audience. I do indeed understand your liking (obsession as you say!) for the works of Marsden and Moody - I love the harmony guitar stuff - their solos were always melodic, not the widdle, widdle, exercising and show-off type of stuff which has nothing to do with the song. Thank for posting this video, retrobiker (Paulus).
