well this is the amy i first listened to seems like more emotion in her older songs back to black just doesnt feel like that to me even tho there songs about her exhubby, i think its because of the drugs she lost her real feelings inside ,if she had stayed straight while she was with blake eveutally im sure she would have left himbecause she would have still been strong to me she was not strong at all through her relationship just desperate to lose the everyday score.sad r.i.p.amy

I love this, it really took a minute for me to warm up to the way she sang during the Frank Era. I personally like Frank album more than B2B album but her vocals weren't as matured back then as they were during her 2nd Era. During this Era, she mostly depended on phrasing, raw emotion and tone than her actual vocals. Kind of reminds me of an early 90s Mary J Blige. Sucks that she only performed Fuck me pumps and Take The Box during the B2B Era. I still wish she would've performed all of her songs acoustically, that's when she shined the brightest.
