Where do these people get the notion of Cobain not having fun with a parody on him? All the guy ever did on and off stage was to have fun and dick around. I mean Cobain himself did a parody video called "In Bloom" for Christ sake.

Kurt felt they had "really made it, and were famous" when weird al wanted to do a parody. it's in most biographies of cobain, and NIRVANA. oh and they mention it at 2:48

Between 2:47 and 2:55 - more using Kurt as an example of artists appreciating Al's parodies of their songs. Good interview but yes deceiving title.

It was just a misleading title. He didn't mention Kurt at all. I think it was just the uploader's own commentary on Al's situation with Atlantic.

mmmfff

IN what part does ha talk about Kurt Cobain? Can't find it.

So, if Atlantic Records didn't tell Weird Al no, would "White & Nerdy" exist? (Thank the lord for "White & Nerdy")

It's actually a good thing that Atlantic denied him rights because "White and Nerdy" is way funnier and done way better than "Your Pitiful"

@TopherBlairMusic Sorry, im more in Soccer than in music - I think, John Lennon never shoots himself. May you have a link for me to prove your point? Thanks in advance.

@Araclain Really? First off, his stomach pains were not some medical mystery. It was Crohn's Disease and he could have walked into any hospital and gotten treatment for it. Face it, he was a junkie, which probably added more to the 'pains'. Wife cheated on him? You have proof of this? So what, divorce the bitch take your kid, quit the music industry and paint. I even saw a video on here of Kirst saying it was a stupid thing to do and honestly he knew him personally. You've never met him.

@TopherBlairMusic Kurt had bi polar disorder, he became really depressed... alot of people with bi polar disorder end up killing theirself because they aren't thinking clearly... I don't agree with any one killing theirself, but sometimes people have a mental illness and they can't control their actions

@TopherBlairMusic I've read and watched plenty of interviews with him, he tried nearly every drug and his stomach pains didn't go away, last time i checked money wasn't the ultimate solution to drug addiction, and the fact that his wife was cheating on him, along with depression, more then warrants suicide. I'm sorry, if anyone had the right to kill themself, its him.

@Araclain Really? You know all of those could have been fixed with money, something he had a copious amount of. Also my dad had back pains and still worked hard to take care of me, why? Because he wasn't a pussy father who actually gave a crap about his kid. Sorry, I like his music but as a person I think he's kind of a bastard.

@TopherBlairMusic I'm sorry, he had EVERY right to shoot himself. He had massive stomach pains, a big drug addiction problem, and chronic depression.
