We all miss John, and I ask you what Beatles fan doesn't? We all miss George to, but we have to deal with two musical legends who left this world to soon. I remember when Paul, George and Ringo (especially Paul) got the news that John had been mudered, gunned down by a maniac in front of The Dakota in New York, December 8th, 1980 at around 10:50pm (or 10:55pm, the times are a bit fuzzy). That date is burned in our minds like you wouldn't believe. I remember that Ringo was in Florida at the time with his then wife Barbara Bach and Paul was in his and Linda's cottage in Sussex, along with their kids. I don't remember where George was at this time of the news, but I remember how Paul cried his eyes how and Linda was there to console him, poor Pauly. Paul cried when George left to, having remembered how he held George's hand and stroked it. Paul, George and Ringo didn't really have much of a chance to say goodbye to John unlike Paul and Ringo with George, which makes the two situations a little different from one another. Never the less, both are sorely missed by use and by the last two surviving Beatles. But imagine if John hadn't died. We would be hearing so much more new music from him. A shame really. RIP John abd George, miss yeah.

Nachdem das Festival im letzten Jahr von Antony Hegarty kuratiert wurde, trifft in diesem Jahr Yoko Ono die Auswahl. Und die hat sich für große Namen entschieden; neben ihr selbst werden u.a. Iggy Pop, Patti Smith, Siouxsie Sioux, sowie Kim Gordon und Sonic Youth von Sonic Youth auftreten.Am letzten Abend wird zudem eine Gruppe von "very special guests" einige Stücke aus "Double Fantasy", dem letzten gemeinsamen Album von Yoko Ono und John Lennon aufführen.
