I absolutely love this "mash up" of the record & the Ed Sullivan appearance. The ES Show proved the singer/entertainer that she was; live performance, live TV and with an orchestra that didn't know how to play "Rock 'n Roll".She was incredible; "they broke the mold".

As is obvious, the 2 clips here edited together, are from different venues. Hence, the clip of the Sullivan show is LIVE; the Russ Conway clip in its ORIGINAL format was a lip synch...However, I have used the LIVE Sullivan show AUDIO and synchronized it with the Conway clip. Dusty, doing such a remarkable job in this case, of keeping the live performance very close in "tempo" to her studio recording, made the job a touch easier for me when editing . So,in fact, you are hearing a LIVE singing performance throughout the full sequence ............

Sometimes stupidity makes us frustrated. Obviously.... She is singing to a pre recorded orchestral track..... But she is SINGING!!!!!! Have you not heard this record and how she performs it on record even once !!!!!!Sheesh... Gimme a break, please!!!

She is obviously "lip-synching" to a pre-recorded track. Notice the audio cross fade between the audience applause and her vocal track at the start plus the cut b/n takes @ about 40 secs. where she's out of sync. to the track. She claps her hands during the recording that indicates a overhead mic. to pick-up some of her audio mixed with the pre-recorded track. In addition, why don't we ever see the orchestra that is necessary for her background music? ALL and all she isn't doing anything that today's singers like Beyonce do at every performance.
