Tell me did you miss me while I was gone did you wanna kiss me when you were aloneDid you sit and stare at the telephone did you miss me while I was goneOur love is so suddenly and stir is so new I just want to know if you feel like I doDid you think about me while I was away and did every hour seem like a dayWas it something inside that you just couldn't say did you miss me while I was awayOur love is so suddenly and stir is so new I just want to know if you feel like I doTell me did you miss me while I was gone did you wanna kiss me when you were aloneDid you sit and stare at the telephone did you miss me while I was gone

@rubbing2001 Music began to go downhill in the late '60's because of the influence of certain bands and singers. The erosion took many years though and wasn't complete until the '90's came along. From the late 60's to the last part of the '80's, you could still find quality pop music, but it became more and more difficult to find. Eventually, the long term effects of societal acceptance of weaker singing and lyrics, computers replacing instruments, etc. led to what we have today.
