If I had never heard Patsy Cline before, I'd say that's the best version I've listened to. But Patsy Cline just can't be beaten. Wanda is a good second.

In my opinion nobody can match Patsy Cline's version, but this comes damn close! What a great talent, and drop-dead gorgeous too. How is it this woman is not in the Country Music Hall of Fame? What a joke.

Aforementioned are all jes' fine, but early Wanda's got a twang and wicked yodel that'd take the paint off a Ford . Like the 'Appalachian Angel' right from the church choir with a that rare "Rockabilly" sound the early Beatles loved so much.

It has been my observation that the artist you first hear sing a song that you like, will be the one you always believe is the best singer of that song. Patsy and Wanda are both as good as it gets.

Biggest difference between Wanda and Patsy: Wanda is still here. I am blown away by what I am hearing.

This song is so sad, reminds me of when I was 12 and my parents split up, my dad would play this over and over...

Lois and I saw Patsy in Safford AZ one month before she was killed in March 1963 and we also had the pleasure of hearing Wanda twice. They both we good friends, they always complemented each other. They were not rivals. At the same time period we saw many of the country stars of that era.The late 50s early 60s was the heyday for county music as far as son many stars being around. All great music in their own right. Larry Adams Phoenix AZ

Wanda did a great rendition of I Fall To Pieces but I got to say no one can top Patsy's original

Texasfenderbender, I don't think long married husband Wendel would o.k. that suggestion. smile...

Wanda and Elvis toured together in 1955, became good friends and kept in touch through the years. Oh, what might have been. She sure can rock.

In a parallel universe Wanda married Elvis kept him off drugs and their offspring certainly rule the Musical industry and Hollywood. But the combination of sex appeal, good looks and real talent would have been too much to imagine.
