My mom sat in prison for Christmas while I sat here alone as well crying. It was very depressing time for me, my mom, my brothers and most of my friends. After all the horrible things that happened to me n my family on Christmas or the holiday season it's a shocker Im not one of those people who hate the holidays n think about suicide. I've havent had a lot of good Christmases growing up. I only actually remember one good Christmas when I was little and that was my first one I could remember. One of the worst was me n my family got back from my aunts from Christmas Eve dinner n we found out we were evicted. My stepdad broke in to get our X-mas presents n he was arrested. Everyone was crying. It was horrible. Last Christmas was horrible too. A very unfortunate event happened to me. Then my mom went to prison for the holidays.

Aahhh....isn't it nice that we can love them all. Luv my Elvis (being born, bred and still living in Memphis)...but I still get to luv my Vince Gill. It's Christmas Time for all of us. I thank god that my brother phillip is home for christmas he's been serving in the army for the last 16 yrs now..we're greatful to have him home with us & his family. wow.. brings back so many memories when I was with UN peacekeeping forces in Cyprus...I remember being on the front line on Christmas eve ..manning an observation post. It was cold and quiet...we coudnt light a fire or any lights in case either side decided to shoot at us...It was sad but I knew we were doing an important job.. keeping the peace...and that meant so much.. especially that night...I was just 18...A very young soldier..a little .afraid, but God gave me courage....and brot me home
