You people all are correct! Even the Major Labels only made initial presses of 25,000 LP's in latter half of the 80's. Great as some are but obscure as most all were, there was no 2nd press. Therefore all are rare on vinyl after all these years.

@podcastshmodcast I only knew of them after I heard the album playing at a record shop in '87 and never heard them on the radio, but I liked what I heard. Being a poor college student, I couldn't afford to buy it new, but was lucky enough to find the LP used at a Columbus record shop later that same year. Good college sound.

This was the only hit from VIGILs one and only LP- the song is a big pun about COcaine, so it doth seem. The LP is rifled with even better songs; celeba sea and whistle in the yard. LP is totally out of print and a bitch to find. I play the cassette of it pretty much daily. the fact that they had 2 names ('Here today') and were from Baltimore added to their failure to cross from college to commercial rock back in the 80's whenHORRID bands like the police managed (with cocaine!?!)

Thx for the upload. My brother still has the cassette of this release. "Gargoyles" and "The Celiba Sea" were my personal faves. Got to see Jo Connor do a solo set opening for Julee Cruise (of Twin Peaks fame) back in 1991 at Gaston Hall Georgetown Univ Campus. Great memories...thanks again.
