Originally known as "Here Today", and now known as "Vigil", this is "Whistle In The Yard".

I originally had this posted with some video that amongst other video, containined footage from Silver Streak. Fox took it down as they figured I was infringing on their copyright. Oh well.

The orginal version was released in 1983 and the album art in this vid is from that release.. This version is their 1987 studio version. I hope you like the song.

Vigil was happening on the radio in Boston back then. FNX played them. Really nice sound.

I discovered them in 1984 as a college DJ in Seattle. As "Here Today", I only know of one three song EP, Whistle In The Yard, Del Centro, and In The Maze". All of those are available on YT. I love "In The Maze", "Del Centro", not so much. About 1985 a name change to "Vigil" and as far as I know, only one CD which is where this mix of "Whistle In The Yard" came from. I love both the original and the re-mix. I am a huge Peter Murphy fan, escpecially his work with Mick Karn in "Dalis Car".
