Sammy has a whole chapter in his book about this disaster of a tour. Eddie was deep into meth/cocaine/booze. Sammy almost walked out a couple times, but it would cost Sammy around 5 million if he pulled out of the tour. Might have been worth it.

yeah that Bozo the Hagar is simply atrocious up there...Michael Anthony all way way off on every backup vocal..it's a sheer miracle Eddie and Alex didn't beat their sorry asses. you can see Eddie looking at Sammy thinking why do I have this fat jimmy Buffett flip flop wearing clown screaming like a wounded rabid cat on every song. and to think folks even question why Eddie won't talk to Sammy or that traitor Anthony. Maybe if Anthony had spent less time boozing it up at cabo Waco cantina and alligning himself with the beach bum he would still be part of being in VAN Halen and not stuck in VAN HAGAR or chickenshit with Will Ferrell on drums, I mean CHAD Smith what's the difference. lol

If you've seen another video from this tour, you would know this is just godawful... I watched a vid with Sammy singing unchained, Sammy could barely hit a note, Eddie was so out of key it was unrecognisable... Go look at the vids from Tokyo Dome in 2013... They're as good as ever!

Thanks for posting this! I had mixed emotions when I saw these guys in '04....at 3:45, everyone followed suit and had their hands up...I felt like crying cause I just missed these guys so bad lol. But Eddie looked horrible; so did Alex. They both looked like they were fighting to just stay conscious. There was obvious tension between them and Sammy onstage too.

This tour was a mess. I seen them in Sacramento towards the end of the tour and Eddie was so wasted he literally could not even form a sentence. Completely incoherent, his playing was all over the place with just a crappy solo. One of the worst concerts I've ever been to, Guns n Roses-Appetite tour being the worst, what a joke.
