Great upload...so are your other ones from this show. I was at this concert and it's a night I will never forget seeing my overall fave band. I haven't been able to be at many rock concerts in my life due to work, where I have lived/moved, or just simply timing, but being able to catch VH with Sammy was a dream come true. I did see VH with Roth back in 2007...Roth wasn't too bad compared to the 2012 tour and nice to hear some of the "real old" classics but it was not the same imo and personally I feel the Roth era was over and should have stayed over. The 2012 tour vids I have seen make me think I'm glad I didn't waste my money. That kind of comment pisses off the Sammy haters, but I always say VH is my fave band, both eras rocked, it's just now DLR is a joke to me. I would pay $1000 for a ticket to see Sammy back in the band.

Yeah you could leave your doors unlocked. In fact, the locks were made of some sort of paper. Food tasted better, grass was greener, girls were prettier and you could pick bacon straight off the pig.,. while it was still alive!

Try an AMT P1 - 5150 tone in a pre amp pedal...Good luck.

hey man you seem to know your stuff, I been trying to mimic this tone for some time now....What do you mean by a dummy load? and do you know any common pedal I can use to maybe achieve this?

Ed uses an Eventide Harmonizer H3000...Sends his amp through a dummy load into the harmonizer and splits it -9 left +9right detune and sends it to a couple delays then into power amps and out to his cabinets.

Brown sound. I think this was the last tour with the Musicman and I know that Ed was doing some strange sh1t with his 5150's back then. He might have been using 5150 II not sure. I do know that Ed would have 4 full stacks dirty and 2 full stacks clean -- at the same time. It gave a warm buzz, lots of chorus, and wet. Brown Sound. Personally, I liked OU812 sound. Very similar to Fair Warning. Plexi Marshall sound.

I think this song is oddly prophetic, "Standing on top of the world...for a little while". I've seen this lineup several times, they were always so tight, they made great songs seem effortless. Eerie that as they played this show, they were already starting to unravel. I wish I could meet Ed and talk sense into him...make him see what the fans of this lineup saw. 4 great musicians making it seem so easy, what they created makes up a lot of the sound track of my youth. Wish I had a time machine.
