It's not so much if Dave still has it, it's the affect he has on the chemistry of the band. That's the most important thing at this point. And I think ADKOT answered that. I'd like to check out some good live Van Halen but I'd rather have some good new music because overall, it's really dry out there for good hard rock. I need another good VH album. Don't care how Dave sings live.

I was at this show. I love VH but this was as boring as all hell. Roth is a clown and Wolfgang just sucks. Ed and Alex can still play but the show was bad.

this is better than 80% bands live....if what you said was true, then the rolling stones should never have started bc they've always been terrible. they still are making good music, their new album is actually good. beats workin', stay frosty, as is, china town, you and your blues...these songs are all good, that's why they are still around!

@snuffle: .COME ON! This is HORRIBLE! I was around when these guys were great.....but these guys are OVER...if you cant put the product out...HANG IT UP.Thats the reality check. I have been playing shows for 25 years....Im in my 40's....when I get to this sad level...I'll be done.

To all the people badmouthing this video, this was a Rehearsel performance mostly for friends and family members before the tour really took off. I was at the D.C. show at the Verizon Centre last night and they were a hell of a lot better than this. Aside from the band sounding kinda iffy during parts of 'Ice Cream Man' and an odd salsa-inspired drum solo from Alex, the band looked and sounded fantastic. Just throwing that out there.
