What people usually fail to equate when talking about Eddie, is his songs. Yah he solo'ss in the one style, that is his sound, that's his thing and he does it so very well. IMHO his real contribution to rock guitar, along with his solos, are all the killer riffs. I mean how many people did Unchained influence, Aint talking about love, Dance the night away, Jump, Panama, fuck the list goes on and on, the dude re wrote the book on modern rock guitar and if you dont give him his due, your a douche.
