"Tinsel and Lights" is the first US track to be released from Tracey's upcoming album of modern and retro Christmas classics, Tinsel and Lights (album out Oct 30).
Written by Tracey Thorn, it forms part of a unique transatlantic 'double A-side' digital single. While Merge Records will release "Tinsel and Lights" in the US, Tracey's UK label Strange Feeling will release her White Stripes cover "In the Cold, Cold Night" on the same day.

We loved her in EBTG. Especially the acoustic album. This album is disappointing. Sorry to say this but she seems to have lost that edge in her voice that she needs to bring that extra. Where are the dynamics in her singing? Sounds too much like a come-back attempt. There has to be better material then what she has on this album. Not a serious album.11 years ago
