your friend is misinformed... I don't know if you can see my post below, but, having watched be here to love me and studied townes pretty clearly (how he got shock therapy that fried his long term memory, how he was a genius song writer according to Bob Dylan but only played dives, etc.. anyway.. he died of a heart complication after a surgery.. due to his years of heroin and other drug addictions. what a bummer, eh?

I was under the understanding that, after years of heroin addiction, he had complications due to a surgery and died, as you said, of a heart problem. Skull fragments under their... OH I GET IT.... suicide? Don't think so. He was quite a troubled, tortured Soul, as many Great Ones are, but... hang on (going to check wiki... yep.. says "Van Zandt died on New Years Day 1997 from health problems stemming from years of substance abuse" ... interesting info there... what a loss.

Great video. I am glad to see him with a good audience. Love this upload! I have been trying for months to find Hey, Willy Boy by Townes or Guy Clark. Has anyone seen it. Also Colorado Girl. I haven't been able to find and think they are wonderful also. Again, thank you for this upload. It is one of the nicest I have seen with Townes.
