What a song! Love them kids dancin at 1:30 in. There's some great dancing in this vid. But what's with the sideburns at 0:50 ? I reckon those blokes were on some kind of bet cos I don't remember much about such ridiculous facial fuzz from late '70's / early 80's skinhead days. I always liked the skinhead girl haircuts but the only one I got off with gave me a dose of the clap, - all curable fortunately! Aaah, happy days!

No offense to any Brits out here on YT but the whole 'skinhead-Doc Martin boots, side burns, braces and reggae' phenomenon is one of the stranger things out of the UK that I have ever seen! I was never a fan of so-called skinhead 'Oi' music I had a couple of those 'Oi' compilation records and they made The Clash sound like The Carpenters! It's important to remember that more than a few so-called skinheads were just a tad racist and aligned with some pretty ugly people like The National Front. I don't pretend to know anything about it, my knowledge of UK punk is certainly not firsthand. I remember being a teenage punk and reading the NME about these guys. They could get violent and sometimes when groups of them came to an out-of-the-way English town the police would confiscate their bootlaces! I was on board with the 'Ska revival' though.
