Richard needs to get some musical and sociological education....quickly.Jamaican artists owe an enormous amount to the skinhead cult in particuliar.Desmond Dekkar,John Holt,Pat Reilly,King Hammond and plenty more have attested to this and openly praised skinheads for popularising music that was seen as decadent, wayward, and dangerous by mainstream Jamaican society. When the skinhead cult spread from East London to Glasgow,Liverpool,Stoke,Middlesboro,Dundee,Dublin, portsmouth,Belfast,Cardiff,Perth,Melbourne and Amsterdam etc etc in those early days it opened up a whole new audience to the wonders of ska and bluebeat. You are a dope Richard, maybe you,re smoking it.Too bad eh...

Richard Levy....lol so are you suggesting that this Jamaican music wasn't full of alcohol, drugs and violence before the whites got involved?

Richard Levy

Funny how whites took black music and turned it into something full of alcohol drugs, hate, and violence.
