Wow, I finally get to see Tommy play this live. I had always figured that Tommy used a Jaguar on this tune, his tone sounded chunky like Carl Wilson's classic Jaguar tone from the glory days of the Beach Boys. I was impressed with how closely Tommy followed his original solo, too. Pretty much note for note. The backing band sing those backups a lot like the record too...pretty good, considering that the original band was....what? 13 years old? Great performance!
