To be fair, Gaga plays the piano pretty well. There is plenty of footage of her doing so here on YouTube. So she is a better musician than, say, Madonna. But you are correct that NO ONE can be compared to the Wizard himself, the greatest living composer, Todd Harry Rundgren. Well, except Stravinsky, Ravel, and Herbie Hancock. But, yeah, that's the league he's in.

I find it astounding that the younger crowd of today could compare Todd Rundgren to Lady Gaga. I don't believe I have EVER seen her pick up and play any musical instrument.

What made Todd so special, apart from all his other qualities, was his courage in attempting such songs as this one live. I just watched this video and was full of nervousness, willing him on to nail it. He did it! Whwew! Something about human fraility overcoming against all the odds. Todd was and is the greatest of all the american rock heroes. A wizard a true star.
