Hey gambit, you know what? No apologies needed for the shaky video, I wanna tell you, there is something totally compelling about this, holy cow, this video is real and honest and for this song just works so damned well - fabulous video, you have posted something just so raw and intimate to the theme of this song, not to mention the audio is terrific. Thanks a zillion for posting!

truly a beautiful tribute...men in solidarity with women on the violence of rape, apologizing on behalf of their sex even though they've done no wrong; they're trying to stop it. for this alone, i will love glen phillips and toad the wet sprocket until i die.

Can you read? He didn't say all women's activists. He said "these dumbass women's activists." Meaning a group of them.

The best song ever about a truly troubling subject.

I dig TtWS but this version has no energy. Too bad, it's a cool song.

@9midwestern9 Would you mind posting a link to the original lyrics? I'm having a hard time finding them.

@SergeantBagel it's not about raping someone, it's about someone who has been raped. not condoning rape, but speaking out against it.

Hey Gambit- Very cool video, but where exactly is The Festival of the River?

@SergeantBagel - the original version has different lyrics- it's even harsher and darker if you can imagine that.

Listen to the original version- which has slightly different lyrics in the chorus. That is just brutal.

I really like this song. It wasn't until I really listened to the lyrics and thought "Oh..."

This is one of my favorite songs from the album. I almost always prefer live versions to songs but I like the album version better. His voice on the album reminds me of Mike Ness...he sounds pissed!

Out of all the great Toad songs, always thought this one was the best. The shame of what a man can do, indeed.
