Thursday was an influence on La Dispute. Geoff Rickly loves La Dispute too (and features Pianos Become the Teeth in his other band, United Nations).

I wouldn't have made that comparison either, not immediately anyway. Also, this is nowhere near Thursday's best song. Check out their music from War All The Time and Full Collapse

someone compared these guys to la dispute,i really dont see it, although i have not waded through all this bands material....i cant feel these guys like i feel the boys from michigan...im thinking that thursday is a severe and gaping wound, and, however bloody and mortal, la dispute is the hand that wielded the blade, gathered the blood with some earth...."and made mortar from the mix....", but lots of times thats what i get for thinking.

Good call.

:'(... I would say the vocals do a lot of good for the delivery of what's being said.... Understand your dislike though I guess.

I never get tired of listening to this, one of my favorite songs they ever did.

drums are undoubtly influenced by "Cosmonaut" from At The Drive-In, i really like the dark and airy vibe. one of their best songs

Who don't you like? Thursday or Envy? I'm not mad, I understand tastes vary, but I am just curious as to which one you don't like and why you don't like them

Changes so often: Cross out the eyes. Dead songs. Circuits of Fever. Unintended Long Term Effects. Porcelain.

@Myran28 alot of people are forgetting M.Shephard, easily the hardest and one of the most emotional Thursday songs out there

@Myran28 Jet Black New Year was an amazing song. Telegraph Avenue Kiss is also very good, alot of new stuff is good, but Waiting is still a great album aswell. SEEING THEM TOMORROW =D

One of their best songs, definitely... just listen to the intro and it EXPLODES with that heavy bass line

I wish someone would upload Thursday's entire half of this split EP. Since it does form 'As He Climbed The Dark Mountain, In Silence, An Absurd and Unrealistic Dream of Peace, Appeared and Was Gone', it would awesome if they could be joined up and feed into each other. Obviously you can just listen it outside of YouTube, but if it was uploaded we could all comment joyfully on it's epicness :)
