@paul bensonI know your post is old, but what a refreshing position! I share it. The twin guitar attack ushered in a more and more cliched version of Lizzy as a "tough" band. The poetry and the beauty of the early years was pushed by the wayside for the most part for commericial success.10 years ago

No this is Gary Moore. Eric Bell left in 1973 and this was during the time Moore was in the band before Brian and Scott joined. Eric played the original version though which is amazing.11 years ago

@mikeisirish123 It is Eric Bell, IMO the best guitarist Thin Lizzie ever had. After he left Lizzie became more clichéd as a band despite its growing popularity. Never really liked the twin guitar line-up although there were still some occasional musical highlights.12 years ago

Love this song! I learned this song on bass when I was a wee lad. I leaned a lot about playing bass from Phil off of Thin Lizzy's first three LPs. This old stuff just sings to my soul.
