Lyrics:

"Out, runnin' around/Seein' every crazy sight

A lady in a evenin' gown/Made from a paper kite

We asked her why/She wore such a crazy gown

She said if ya wanna fly/Ya gotta get off the ground

Don't know what we hear an' see/Hey, we gotta be...

Out of our tree

Out of our tree

Out of our tree

Ran a little ways more/And we happened to meet

A man building a door/Right in the middle of the street

We asked him why/He did such a crazy thing

He said if ya wanna get by/The doorbell ya hafta ring

Don't know what we hear an' see/Hey, we gotta be...

Out of our tree

Out of our tree

Out of our tree

Two dogs and a cat/Diggin through a garbage can/ Out jumped a Rat/ Dog and Cat they ran

Now everything we see/We don't try to figure out

We know that it just can't be/But it's happenin' without a doubt

Don't know what we hear an' see/Hey, we gotta be...

Out of our tree

Out of our tree

Out of our tree

One of my favorite groups ever. They used to come down from Seattle in the 60's and play in Boise, ID at a local dance hall, inspired a lot of musicians, including me. I stood at the front of stage, full blast and took it all in. Rock on boys!!!

The Wailers è un gruppo di rock statunitense, spesso considerato il primo gruppo di garage rock. Il loro cover regionale del 1961

RANT! BABY! RANT! For those who remember Jag XKE convertibles, the HIS line of men's wear, Farah slacks, "Beatle" boots, penny loafers, and Silva-Thin cigarettes. Spanish Castle magic here.

For the late/great Jonathan Winters. Thanks, Jonathan, for making us all get crazy and fall out of our respective trees. Remember: Eric Von Zipper likes this -- and when Eric Von Zipper likes something -- it stays liked! Stay frosty, good people.

"Tossing their heads is sprightly dance" - Wordsworth. Yeah, this really IS dance music -- the BEST kind.

If you like this kind of Garage Band Rock from the Pacific Northwest in the mid 1960s, also check out The Viceroys, The Sonics, The Beachcombers, The Kingsmen, Don and the Goodtimes, The Ventures and PAUL REVERE AND THE RAIDERS!! ALL came from the Pacific Northwest, USA......and we're PROUD OF THEM ALL!!
