Outstanding song written and performed by The Vapors, a small time rock band from England. Though this song was not as well known as their hit, "Turning Japanese", it gives off its own illumination of emotion. It was written about the JFK assassination, and thusly follows a very sad and melodramatic melody of tragedy and loss. It might very well speak of the unpredictability of the situation, and how it couldn't be stopped, and the way it affected lives after the fact. Either way you look at it, It's Good Stuff!!!

Both albums were solid, used to bring the jam box to work from 4-12 pm as a summer janitor during school in the early early 80's, blasted the whole building, lol

MAGNETS wasn't as brilliant an album as NEW CLEAR DAYS, which doesn't have a weak song on it, but its title track is as good as anything on NCD.

Both of their albums are better than any ARCADE FIRE album.

@RaycliffManor You have a point there. Some of their other music was as good, if not better, more meaningful than "Turning Japanese". I love it all, but am still scratching my head from time to time when I can't figure how they were missed so completely. Don't get it. Oh well, more fun for we who do!

Wow! This takes me back! Awesome band and definitely underrated! I think the song Turning Japanese distracted people from their far greater music!

@whatzerface929 Yes, the Vapors were extremely, even criminally underrated. I will try to put more on here soon. :-D

One of the most underrated bands of all time...if this album came out in 2011 they would be stars.
