As close to perfection as it's possible to get.

My lord...the last vocal section..listen to it...every note vibrato and inflection...forget that it matches the album...the technical difficulty alone ensures not likely reproduced ...but this is Harriet Wheeler and David Gavurin they are real..they do it.....Power tone and unique harmony ...this is why they will survive and reemerge. Thank you both for being musicians!!!

Come back Harriet and Dave, you had way too much talent to take that early retirement.

This song is so powerful that it makes me cry. To quote a friend "there are few things more sublime than the last 1:30 of this song". No truer words have been spoken.

I was lucky enough to see them twice in Connecticut and Boston in the early 90s. This is my single favorite song of all time, and it was great to find this on YouTube.Every couple weeks, I check the Internet in the hope that there will be a reunion. One great day, this will happen. I'm sure of it.

Oh Harriet you were so perfect in every way. But the band is about as tight as can be here too. Just stellar all around.

one of the few bands where they sound just as good live if not better than on record.her voice is amazing and although she wanted to settle down etc I'd have loved at least one more album from them!!

You can tell on the albums too, they don't process or mess with her voice at all, it's just natural, and that's why she sounds so good live ... because it's effortless for her (not that she doesn't put a lot of work into it, just that it's like talking is for the rest of us, it just comes naturally). That girl was born to sing like a bird. :)
