Real hard-edged Punk Rock here. Wish the video quality was better.

Ther REAL Stranglers, up until 1981 and La Folie shit...all later is just commercial...hey! we`re popular, lets make some money...and then Hugh thought he could have even more money so he turned into M. Jackson...but then JJ and co tried to "move on", without any hit for 22 years! Then they ditched Jet Black, and now I don`t know who would listen to them or Hugh, they ruined everything they made...its much better to drop everything or just make another band...

Thanks for this mate. I was at this concert and very good it was too! Rock City was (and I am sure still is) a great venue: small, sweaty and dirty. Many great gigs seen here, including very early REM, New Order, Bauhaus, Echo and the Bunnymen and Marillion (stop laughing at the back!).

Saw them in Utrecht at "NoNukes". Back in the eighties. To see this back again is great! Thanks for uploading!

if this was from the "who wants the world" tour 1980, then I was at the Ipswich Gaumont gig of that tour. Memorable night. My first ever gig, too!

This is how this should be played live. Fast and tight. Best version I've heard of this track live.

The opening section is really out of this world, this is so damn good!! but i always found the whole vocal melody the weak spot of the song . They might have done this an instrumental -- it could have been a great intro/overture for the black and white album.
