One of the unsung greats. Tasty playing, the right influences, a master of tone and phrasing, and really a tremendous collaborator.

Why couldn't he play a Beatles song? I can record myself playing a Beatles song, put it up here, and even monetize it! That doesn't make any sense to me :/

What a personality! He's one of the best guitarists of his generation, he achieves such a brilliant tone and has such a tight technique, and yet he's incredibly modest.

Very underrated guitarist. Goes for the song, not for himself.

What a wonderful chat from Dave. He plays so beautifully. Great to hear from a Master's own lips what instruments speak to him and allows such music to come forth. What a sound this Fender Strat has as Dave touches his magic fingers over the strings and moves so skillfully over the fret board. Magnificent little vid here. Thanks for sharing this Gem my Angel Warrior from the U.K. Just amazing.

Although its' not mentioned, I wonder if the Rickenbacker was used on "All of a Sudden (It's Too Late)"
