If you don't like rock-n-roll, you will hate this song. If you're not already a fan of Billy Corgan's singing, you will hate this song. If you can't tolerate minimalist, loud, bass-heavy metal, you will hate this song. But if you can get past all of that ... this song is all about Jimmy Chamberlin's drumming. And man-o-man, does he drum; he goes berzerk from the first beat. This is a studio dub, and you may ask yourself if its been overdubbed a few times, as no human could actually do that. But no, there are live versions of this song, where you can see that he actually does this single-handedly.If I ever talk to Billy Corgan, I will have a question for him: when Jimmy left, why didn't he replace him with two drummers? Maybe I'm naive, and musically inexperienced, but that would seem to be the logical thing to do, to regain that sound.
