The Silencers are a Scottish Band who formed in the mid 80's so will likely have started before the group you are talking about. They don't do a lot of stuff now, I don't know if they're actually still together so no problem

there allready is a band out called the silencers....on hellcat records....its aa punk band , tim armstrong from rancid is in the silencers thhis aint them...cease and desist use of the name ....quit ripping off band names...unoriginal fuck heads!!
