Its been a long time since, but a lot of aggressive skateboarding and rock and roll came right out of West Los Angeles. The SST crew who partnered with the raddest skateboard shop Rip City made some killer boards and funny epic videos. The Slog Movie, Decline of Western Civ, Target, and other Black Flag music videos of the early 80's combined with the classic Bones Brigade films and earlier Dogtown/Stecyk exploits of skate and destroy were the main inspiration for the Freak Fighter video.

The singer atleast is actually on his early 20's so pretty young, not sure about the bassist or drummer though!

pretty cool... reminds of bl'ast and annihilation time, with lotsa thin lizzy... at 40, it amazes me no end that younger guys are picking up on these sounds of my youth... well, dunno if the guys in the shrine ara actually thaaat young haha... but more power to everybody. apparently, rock will never die, though it certainly became 'an art form', and thus, a bit stagnant. let's see what those who are now 16 and getting into it will do with the raw materials ten years from now. up the longhairs!
