Can you believe I saw the Melvins open for Rush in 1994 on the Counterpartstour? They played at the Arco Arena in Sacramento to a mostly confused (ornot stoned enough) audience. I wonder if Rush asked them to play as somesort of joke on their fans, or maybe an attempt to expand their minds to thestop-a-rhino-in-it's-tracks guitar sludge that the Melvins wield like a blunt instrumentto your skull.
