@Rawk4Life: first off, skillet is not heavy haha, with the exception of a few of there songs. and second i think demon hunter and war of ages are pretty blatantly christian. if you've ever been to any of their concerts its pretty darn obvious what they stand for.

It's because they are a Christian metal band. people expect it to suck when in all seriousness, they are probably the most METAL band out there now. Everything is either Post Hardcore (Devil Wears Prada) or Metalcore. I would put these guys up against Five Finger Death Punch on the brutality scale. If only their lyrics where pretty much saying "fuck you" in all of it, maybe it would get more attention...idk...its not fair.

@Rawk4Life im sorry but fuck the mainstream, yes some of my fave bands may be big in the mainstream metal scene but its still over filled with shitty as mediocre bands and shitty ass Core crossover bullshit, if the showdown doesn't become huge in the mainstream thats fine with me because someones gonna take these guys on huge tour eventually and theyll gain fans the old fashioned way

@S1ayerofLegions Not really. Skillet, Demon Hunter, War of Ages, Sleeping Giant, and As I Lay Dying are all heavy bands with Christian members and have been giving much exposure in the mainstream. They might not be as blatantly Christian as The Showdown, but that's minute.

No there isn't. You have to buy the Deluxe Edition or else you can only get the 2 extra songs through iTunes. I have a copy of the actual release, and Evil Eye and Apocalypse Horde are not on it.
