Look up Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and lemme know what you think. They're southern metal, but the screams are a bit higher than midrange. Mychildren Mybride is also pretty good.

You would be incorrect, sir. Lamb of God formed in about 1994, when most of the original members of The Showdown were about 13 years old, a good 8 or 9 years before The Showdown actually started.
