Donner Party, Joan of Arc, Hernan Cortès, Salem witch trials. All acted by children, I guess to show how childish adults can be sometimes. Has nothing to do with the song, but I'm pretty sure that's a requirement of Shins videos, to have nothing to do with their song. "Simple Song" isn't about a wealthy eccentric's death, "It's Only Life" isn't about spiky black monsters taking over a town, "The Rifle's Spiral" is not about a Tim Burtonesque magician girl and her evil rabbit, "So Says I" is not about communist penguins. All of them are awesome music videos.

I Firstly listened to this song on the radio back in California, now I'm living in mexico and everybody listens to stupid music about drugs, murders and infidelity. But don't get me wrong I wouldn't care less what they listen to, is just that I don't see what's so amusing about it.
