Donner Party, Joan of Arc, Hernan Cortès, Salem witch trials. All acted by children, I guess to show how childish adults can be sometimes. Has nothing to do with the song, but I'm pretty sure that's a requirement of Shins videos, to have nothing to do with their song. "Simple Song" isn't about a wealthy eccentric's death, "It's Only Life" isn't about spiky black monsters taking over a town, "The Rifle's Spiral" is not about a Tim Burtonesque magician girl and her evil rabbit, "So Says I" is not about communist penguins.
