Not a stupid complaint at all. It's like calling an American, Mexican. Or a Brit French. Worse actually, considering Mexico never invaded, slaughtered and imprisoned Americans. Or the French with Britain. Irish people do not like being called British. That is fact. It's derogatory. I think I should know better than you on the basis that I live here. We find it offensive. I like the British, but their past against Ireland is shameful.

Well that's utter horseshit for a start. People in Ireland do not like to be called British irrelevant of age. I'm 32 and I'm certainly not the exception to the rule. You know full well that this is true. Another person who was proud to be Irish and corrected people who called him British constantly was Phil Lynott who you have next to your Youtube name. Not wanting to be called British doesn't make you some hardline Republican. It just makes you a proud Irish person. That's all.
