I'm not a fan of rechanneled / fake stereo, but this is an amazing job of rechanneling the mono into stereo. Sounds like true stereo!!!

What a great job of converting this song to stereo, hard to believe it's 50 years old, still sounds fresh today.

Lead singer, Marty Fortson passed away on September 27th at age 67. Lead guitarist Joe Pennell passed away in March 2011 at age 66. Both were Marine Corps veterans of the Vietnam War. RIP to both.

No, they were not a Latino Band. Just a handful of guys from South Bend, Indiana. A couple of them were in HS when I was at South Bend Central High School -- at the same time this record was a hit.

This is a terrific song! I take it these Rivieras were a Latino band, right? Thanks for posting this, btw.:-)
